THEME: THE VOICE FROM ALTAR
TEXT: REVELATION 16:7

Beloved, life and Christianity is way above having the grace of speaking in tongues or other gifts of God. Life is deep and spiritual. King Mesh of Moab was confronted with defeat at the hands of the children of Israel, an army of God and hastily sacrificed the crown prince and immediately his request was granted.
God places so much value on altar and that is why a good study of the Bible will show how great men and women never stopped raising altars for God.
Altar is a structure on which offerings are made to a deity. The altar can be of God or of the devil but it takes requests and sacrifices and fight anyone it is sent against no matter how righteous the person is.
We have today, people who covenanted with the altar of death at the peril of their children and generation unborn resulting in their family having to sacrifice to that altar every season for fear of the altar coming to fight them.
Most beloved, your service to God goes beyond attending church activities and been a part of the work force to raising an altar that will speak good of your life, family, business and all you do. Don’t be fooled by anyone that the coming of Jesus is the end of raising altars.
Altar is a junction where lives are transformed and people who understand this go to any length to bring down and raise people. You may be a believer who does not visits shrines or practice witch crafts but can you say the same of your competitors in your office, business place and those eyeing you without your notice?
The altar has eyes, legs, mouth and hands with which it does the bidding of the request made from it.
Beloved, you are reading this because God wants you to be the one that will cause that change in your family. It is not too late to raise an altar by partnering with God in raising great structure in the house of God and meeting needs in the church. Let us remember how Hezekiah was able to add fifteen years back to his life by an altar.
