Nigerians' Matthew Kuti claimed the U11 and U13 male singles titles at the just concluded World Table Tennis Youth Contender event held in Cairo, Egypt.

Making his WTT Youth Series debut, Kuti took down both the U13 and U11 Boys' Singles titles. It's a remarkable achievement for the 11-year-old who defeated top seed Steven Moreno 3-1 (5-11, 11-5, 11-9, 11- for the U13 title and Vivaan Dave 3-1 (11-7, 7-11, 11-6, 11-6) in the U11 event.

According to Matthew Kuti, "I am extremely happy and excited to win the titles. Playing with high-level players here in Cairo is a big pleasure for me. Being the champion for two age categories was not easy, I tried so hard to prove that I am doing my best. I am very proud to represent my country Nigeria. I will keep fighting to improve my skills and claim more titles in the future."
