Very nice suggestion.

Though the increase of dollar price does not affect me by any means, but I will really be happy if this madness is corrected.

Thank you. However, it affects everyone who lives in Nigeria, including those who earn in foreign currency.

Here's the thing. If you earn foreign currency, you CANNOT spend it in Nigeria. This means you have to change it naira to spend it.

Now, because Nigeria runs an import-dependent economy, when Nigeria depreciates against the dollar, it affects almost everything.

This means that something you bought #500 may become #600 next week, meaning that everyone in Nigeria is affected.

'Governor Donatus Wike' should top the agenda of the 3 crooked Governors.

Meanwhile the naira redesign is holding the crooked by the jugular. No matter what they do the money has to find it way to the bank.
More so that the dollar is scarce & could not readily accommodate the humongous stashed naira.
I think it is Okowa, Ortom, and Bello of Kogi

Someone raised a valid point. Foreign currency in hard cash should be banned in Nigeria. Anyone found in possession of it should be arrested because it's not a legal tender.

If someone wants to transact with BCD, it should be through bank transfers. Banks should facilitate interoperability among dorm account holders in Nigeria.
Mumu, what about those who are looking for dollar to travel oversea. or do you lot think you can exchange your useless naira abroad. Jealous Urchins in that shithole country.

1. Okowa is gunning for VP and from what we know based on how they play politics and rig elections in Delta, he must have a stach somewhere.
2. Ortom hardly pay salaries but is always complaining of lack of funds. He is a rascal and would see nothing bad in paying workers from across the table.
3. Bello who has been finding it difficult to pay workers came out to contest presidential primaries. With what money would he have used to facilitate the elections if he had won?

Yeah, but for someone who earns in dollars, even if the prices of goods increase, the value of his money increases too.

For instance, if a man earns $2000 monthly when the price of a bag of rice was #10,000 and dollar was #300.
he would easily afford 60 bags of rice 60 x #10000 = #600,000

If the naira falls and Dollar rate becomes #900 instead of #300 it used to be, the man would still afford 60 bags of rice even if one bag of rice rises to #30,000 from #10,000.

That is why Naira value doesn't affect those earning in hard currencies. Infact they even gain sometimes because some goods don't react so fast with currency value depreciation
