The Nigerian Railway Corporation purchased 3,000 work boots and shoes from Enyimba Automated Shoe Factory in Aba Abia in accordance with President Muhammadu Buhari's Executive Order O5, which directed all Ministries, Departments, and Government Agencies to prioritize local products during procurement. Nigerian police had previously taken delivery, as the Federal Government remains a major customer of the Abia shoe factory to support job creation.
