Decided that i need to get in shape and keep fit, so i hit the gym yesterday.Got carried away with ALL the fitness equipment and , boy today,im paying the price. The body is in RIGAMORTIS. |

Your body will adjust after a few days.Maybe do a little less next time. Stretching helps with the soreness too. |

Its usual at d 1st time of any form of xcercise,don't let it discourage,as u contnue,moderately at 1st,d muscles who ar d culprits in d situation wi bgin to adapt.Apart frm loss of wt,dere are numerous health benefits to working out. |

Rigamortis or Rigor Mortis? I'm sure it's not even Rigor Mortis that's worrying you. I'm pretty sure you're not a ghost. It's simply Muscle/joint Fatigue. It's normal. Like Talina said, your muscles will soon adjust to the new situation. I used to be very active (in high-school), till I got to college. I took a fitness class last year, and of course the professor made us Run 2 miles almost immediately after the class commenced. I did jog the 2 miles succesfully and with ease; however, my joints and muscles vexed for me for the next couple of days. You''ll get over it. |

@OP: The "pain" you feel after a physical fitness exercise is as a result of "weakness" leaving your body; the fitter you become, the lesser you will notice the pain! I have been an addicted runner myself doing 10 miles/week minimum, yet I still feel a slight niggle on my shins every now and then, I just get on with it. |
