The Chief Executive Officer, Mr Joel INTO Group, Dr. Ibilade Joel Adesokan to speak on Financial Technology as it has to do with digital economy in the 21st century.

The Keynote speaker and lead panelist, Dr. Ibilade Joel Adesokan would also be appointed as LIFE PATRON of the Nigerian Students and Youths Association, NIYASA.

The 2-Days event which is scheduled to hold in Abuja on the 15-16th of November, 2022 at the Sheranton Hotel is aimed at exposing the flaws in the financial sector, coupled with the present-day technology.
It is mandatory to find a lasting solution. Hence, the thought about a hackathon that will help to discover talents in the country - the FINTECH hackathon.

The event which would be holding alongside a digital economy summit to incorporate the entire populace on the financial advancement and help selected cohorts in reaching investors and advisors would have in attendance technocrats all round the globe within the financial macrocosm.


According to the organizer and South West Coordinator of the Nigerian Students and Youths Association, NIYASA, Olaseinde Adeyinka, he stated that the main goal is to ameliorate financial services in Nigeria.
"This hackathon will help to discover talents and sponsor ideas amidst students of the Nigerian Institutions creating an empowerment avenue for youths.
At the end of the hackathon, 10 fintech solutions would have been developed, and the top ideas if not all the ideas will have gotten the attention of interested investors and advisors that will make them an impactful, sustainable and innovative project to mine the gold's of the Nigeria economy. It will also create direct and indirect jobs for the students and youths in the country. The social goal is to create a youth and student-inclusive community of tech enthusiasts.


Speaking on the aftermath result,
" the programme will in a long term change the narrative of the youth towards innovation and make them realise that they can play an active role in nation-building by solving problems from the grassroots.
The programme will also combat vices like internet fraud by opening young minds to better ways to explore their innovative minds.
By creating a platform for business sponsors to meet innovators, we are building the country’s economy for the future years.
Through the follow-up mentorship and guide, ideas will become profitable services", he added.
