ABUJA– Following his alleged disobedience of a legitimate court order, an Abuja High Court sitting in Maitama ruled that Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa, the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, be held in jail custody. After learning that the EFCC director had refused to return a Range Rover Sport (Super Charge) car worth N40 million that the anti graft organization had taken from a former director of operations at the Nigerian Air Force, NAF, Air Vice Marshal, AVM, Rufus Adeniyi Ojuawo, the court, in a decision delivered by Justice Chizoba Oji, found him guilty of contempt of court.
