1. Where exactly it written in the scripture that it is the prayers of the saints that caused the release of peter from prison? Cause from where I sit, what you do is commit what is a questionable cause fallacy. undecided

2. Again, where is it written that it is the prayer and praises of Paul and Silas that caused the doors of the prison to break that day? Are you insinuating that if Paul and Silas had been quiet that night, none of what happened would have happened? undecided

3. According to the teachings of Jesus Christ, the power is not in prayer itself but in obedience to the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ. This He made severally clear when He, Jesus Christ, said that those who love Him are those who obey His teachings and commandments - John 14 vs 15 - 25 - and those who are loved by Him are those who do exactly as He says - John 15 vs 9 -15; He abides in those who abide in Him - John 15 vs 1 - 11 - meaning that obedience, not your many prayer rituals - is the key to the benefits of God. undecided

4. I don't believe in prayer because prayer is not a god to me. Instead, the one who is God over me is Jesus Christ and it is He that I trust and obey. It is not prayer that works but obedience to the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ that causes one to benefit from even praying to Him. undecided

By the way, did you know that in scripture, both the Broad gate and Narrow gate lead into the Kingdom of God - John 3 vs 1 - 8 & Matthew 7 vs 13 - 14. And as Jesus Christ said, the multitudes will enter into the Kingdom of God through the broad gate that leads to eternal damnation - Hellfire/Hell, whereas only a few will enter into the Kingdom of God through the narrow gate that leads to Eternal reward or True Life - Heaven. And in order to enter into the Kingdom of God, one first must be born-again. What the above reveals is that the common denominator between those who will end up in Hell and those who will end up in Heaven is that they are all of them born-again. undecided

You are struggling to understand the scripture because you are not born again. Please, accept Jesus first as your Lord and Saviour.

I understand scripture quite well.... It was written by human hands in human language to be comprehended in much the same way you would any other text presented in human language by the human mind. So even a lay man with minimal education is able to comprehend scripture. That was always the intention of the writers. God's Law and Word is meant for humans to understand so He made it so. undecided

The problem here is you don't care to understand scripture at all. What seems your primary goal is instead to imbibe the doctrines and traditions of your pastors and mogs, going as far as to bend scripture as far as you need to, in order to achieving this goal of yours. Your starting and end point isn't Jesus Christ ad His teachings. No, instead your seem geared towards making scripture align with your delusions as fed you by your mogs and pastors. And it is for that reason that you now feel that stating that I am not born-again somehow legitimized your obviously illogical claims regarding prayer so far. undecided

I pity your darkness. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour now that you still have hope. There is no repentance in hell.

What does your pity mean though? undecided

What you have contradicts that which is stated in the very Gospel of Jesus Christ meaning the Truth does not currently live inside of you. So shouldn't you instead busy yourself with resolving your own predicament with the darkness? undecided

Before you continue spreading more misinformation, please take some serious time to resolve all of the lies - antiChrist elements - stored up in your life there so the Truth of God can have His abode in you. undecided

The gospel is so simple. Salvation is free but your preconceived opinion is what is acting as a stumbling block.

The steps to get saved is clearly stated in Romans 10:9-10.

1st, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you.

2nd. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord over your life.

And you will be saved.

1. Salvation is free yet Jesus Christ told you in Luke 14 to count the cost of Salvation before you decide whether it is wise to accept Him or not for your self? undecided

You folks feed off of the vomit fed you by ordinary men like you whom you elevate to god-status in your lives abandoning Jesus Christ's teachings all together yet you expect His Truth to live inside of you, how come? undecided

2. Anyone with a fully functioning brain who has ever investigated the New Testament would almost immediately realize that Paul's writings do not even broach over 98% of what is the Gospels as taught by Jesus Christ, the very Law Jesus Christ then sent His disciples out to teach to those in the world, yet you consider it a substitute for the teachings of Jesus Christ? undecided

I mean you are boldly declaring Jesus Christ a liar here because you have conveniently chosen to overwrite God's Truth with your idea or what was written by a man named Paul and somehow you think you are justified in your pretending to be of the very same Jesus Christ? undecided

Ephesians 4:8-9
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD.

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Do you pay for a gift? Certainly not.

But it will cost you to maintain that gift.

You don't pay for your salvation. But it will cost you to walk in the ways of God after you are saved. This is the cost Jesus is talking about.

Please try to work on your human language comprehension abilities as it is severally lacking. undecided

1. If you followed Paul's claim in the context there, you would realize that gift of grace which he wrote of refers to the Eternal life everyone who enters into the Kingdom of God either through the broad gate which leads to destruction(Hellfire) or through the Narrow gate which leads to True Life(Heaven) are all gifted with - John 3 vs 1 - 8 & Matthew 7 vs 13 - 14 & Luke 14 vs 22 - 30 & John 3 vs 16 - 21. . undecided

And I recall explaining earlier that all those who end up in Hell are all born-again meaning they all have the gift of eternal life aka grace. undecided

2. Obviously, Salvaton package offered you by Jesus Christ included much more than just the gift of eternal life aka grace which all receive at the entry gate. And as Jesus Christ clearly explained in His Gospel, there's a cost that comes with the Salvation package offered by Him. If eternal life is all you want, eternal life aka grace which all those who will end up in Hell also have, then you are free to stop with just that. undecided
