On Sunday, the 13th of November, the Governor of Anambra State, Charles Soludo declared his support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Professor Peter Umeadi.

Soludo added that the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and his supporters, known as the ‘Obidients’, were no threat to APGA. According to him, the Obidient movement was an offshoot of the Peoples Democratic Party.

In a statement by Dr. Alex Obiogbolu, his Special Adviser on Political Matters, the Anambra governor claimed that APGA remained the third-largest political party in the country.
