The Seyi Makinde Undergraduates Scholarship scheme is inviting candidates who are indigenes of Oyo State in Nigeria for its 2022 Tertiary Institutions Bursary Award.



Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde is the sitting Governor of Oyo State since 29 May 2019 and is also a Nigerian businessman, politician, and philanthropist. He is an engineer and a subject matter expert on fluid and gas metering and the group managing director of Makon Group Limited; an indigenous oil and gas company in Nigeria.

The following/given criteria must be fulfilled by candidates to be eligible or to qualify for the Seyi Makinde Undergraduates Scholarship

Eligible Countries: Only Candidates from Oyo State, Nigeria are eligible to apply for the scholarship programme

Required Language: English

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants are required to meet all the following/given criteria:

Candidates must be a citizen of Oyo State.
Candidates must be Registered as Full-Time undergraduates in any Nigerian Tertiary institution

Documents Required for Application

All applications must be submitted no later than Friday 02, December 2022 with scanned copies of the original:

Evidence of Local Government or State of Origin Certificate.
School Identity card.

Applications without all these credentials shall be rejected. The board shall enter into correspondence with only successful candidates.
