Ohanaeze: We’ve Dragged Soludo To Igbo Deities Over Comment On Obi by plaindealer: 4:59am On Nov 16, 2022
Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, an Igbo socio-cultural association, has tackled Chukwuma Soludo, governor of Anambra, over his recent comment about Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP).

The association is different from Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the group headed by George Obiozor.

In an article published on Monday, Soludo had said Obi knows that “he can’t and won’t win” the presidential election.

Reacting in a statement issued on Tuesday, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, secretary-general of the association, said the group has taken Soludo begore “two famous divinities and deities” over his comment.

The group said it is “unreasonable public behaviour” for Soludo to “cast aspersions” on Obi who is his kinsman and presidential candidate from the south-east.

“Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has advised Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo to concentrate on the current crisis in Anambra State and APGA and halt casting innuendo and aspersions on the person of Mr Peter Obi who is not in the same political party nor fighting the Anambra State Government,” the statement reads.

“Governor Soludo transgressed in choosing to revolt against the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, who is his brother and predecessor.

“Ndigbo has dragged Governor Chukwuma Soludo to the two famous divinities and deities (Chokoleze in Mbaise and ubiniukpabi in Arochuku) for his unreasonable public behavior.

“The Governor behaves like he was fighting Peter Obi over his future ambition to be President in 2031.

“Our direct response to Governor Soludo’s verbal diarrhoea against Peter Obi is that Governor Soludo’s actions are ridiculous, unreasonable and premature. There was no locus for the Governor’s outburst, and the Igbo sanctions against Soludo to face Igbo deities will serve as a deterrent to southeast politicians who have been hired by enemies of Ndigbo and Nigerians to derail Obi’s Presidency in 2023.

“Governor Soludo exposed and indicted himself of treachery when he discredited APGA and Labour Party’s Presidential candidates as not viable alternatives to win the 2023 elections.

The group said Nigerians should “disregard” Soludo’s comment about Obi and Philip Umeadi, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

“He had confirmed that he is the number one enemy of the New Nigeria and was hired by an unpopular Presidential candidate who is looking for Igbo politicians to pull down Obi’s popularity ahead of 2023,” the group added.

I can't just understand how a group of people that mouthed & sought for a level playing field in the land detest dissenting voices in their midst.

No matter what Soludo has already done justice to his conscience and the truth. The substances of his article cannot be withdrawn anymore.

Instead of dragging Soludo to their deities, why can’t they just appeal to their deities to make the region a prosperous one, free of innocent killings and disasters such as flooding and erosions?

Even though I don't support H.E Soludo over his outburst against our chosen H.E Obi,is reporting him to the Idol in this 21st century the only way to correct his stupidity?
Obi na Peter and the man head strong to fight his enemies make una allow Idol rest for shrine.

Idol Worshippers don’t think that way

Love and Compassion is not their Strongest point

They Prefer to see thunder and fire falling from Heaven

That was why Jesus had to tell James and John you don’t know the type of spirit you are of

When they asked Jesus to Call Down Fire from Heaven on their Opponents

Igbos are quite worse in this regard. It is becoming more and more obvious the kind of people they really are.

I even wish y’all Biafla agitations can be granted at once. Not much difference between Igbos and the northerners they all hate so much.

A governor expressed his views, which is even close to the truth, una turn ham to enemy straight up.

You guys eyes will open very shortly, February is here, then we shall restore some sanity to the social media at least.

OBI cannot and will not be President in this forthcoming election. Very Simple and Clear.

Peter Obi knows that he can’t and won’t win. He knows the game he is playing, and we know too; and he knows that we know.

-- Gov Soludo 2022.

Even Peter Obi knew all along he wasn't going anywhere but he just kept deceiving his gullible followers.

Obi claims to be a Christian and a Catholic yet he is employing the use of Idol worshippers and Babalawos just because someone dared to have a contrary opinion from his own.

Peter Obi is not open to criticism and hence not fit for president

Obi's fight with El-Rufai originated from the analysis of Anambra that El-Rufai made based on facts. Instead of Obi to reply El-Rufai with facts he resorted to personal attacks on the person of El-Rufai and even called the entire IGBO race on El-Rufai.

No matter what Soludo has already done justice to his conscience and the truth. The substance of his article cannot be withdrawn anymore.

Every once in a while, we get quality and credible thoughts from the SE, but such good, rational and realistic thoughts are rare and generally not welcome in the SE simply because they are not used to any rationale that doesn't paint their self-abusive and self-destructive and collective paranoia, us against them mentality and inability to understand the basic rules and concepts of political understandings and maneuver, basic ralaities as opined by Soludo that you can not win with the same tired and worn out methods of sentimental and emotional blackmail or the usual arrogance of not reaching out, forming strategic alliances.

Even though Obi is contesting and nearly the whole of Igborace is behind him, they still hate Nigeria, they still don't wish us well, and they still insult and abuse Nigeria and Nigerians outside their borders.

With their baked-in radicalization and societal indoctrination, they can not coexist peacefully and lovingly with the rest of Nigeria, they don't even love themselves to start with.

All the people they are slaughtering in the SE are their own people, the people, and the region crumbling under their sit-at-home madness are igbo people

Soludo offered the best and most logical pathway forward, but his people are too far gone to listen, reason, understand or be receptive to sane ideas and solutions.

Sadly for them and even for Soludo in Anambra, the real danger is looming around the corner after Obi's loss at the polls next year, the SE won't be the same again.

If Obi eventually becomes president, his tribalism and clannishness in selecting his cabinet and other top government officials would worse than Buhari.
