A show promoter has received the beating of his life after Nigerian comedian, Sabinus, failed to show up at an event in Oko, Anambra state.

As the show came to an end, angry guests who came to see Sabinus live on stage, pounced on the show promoter after getting disappointed.

Speaking on the incident, however, the show promoter insisted that it wasn’t his fault since he paid the comedian all his fees including the flight ticket.

In his words:

“I paid him his money completely. Just look at my event centre. I paid everything even flight fee. Look at my back now.”

I thought Sabinus was a skit maker and not a stand up comedian. Abi dem don dey mix the two?
