As the 2023 elections draw closer more Constituents have continued to back the return of the Senator representing Anambra North at the 9th Senate, Senator Stella Oduah.

Latest amongst the constituents backing the return of Senator Stella to the Red Chambers is the prominent Anambra group under the Auspices of "Conference of Anambra North Professionals" who made the declaration on Tuesday shortly after their pre end of the year Congress, held at Ogbaru local government area of the state.

The mammoth gathering held at Ogidi witnessed a large turn of eminent professionals , youths and other stakeholders from the entire seven local governments of Anambra North.

During the meeting presided over by the Group's coordinator Engr. Livinus Bunkechukwu stated that Senator Stella Oduah had performed excellently in delivering legislative and infrastructural dividends to their constituency.

Livinus mentioned that Stella is a ranking member of the Senate, stating that her legislative experience backed with tangible achievements stands her out amongst other contenders.

In statement the group endorsed the re-election quest of Senator Stella, it road in parts

"Having served as the representative of the constituency for two terms, Anambra North has never regretted voting the Senator into power. Talk about construction of roads in the Constituency and her name tops the list. Talk about prevalent contributions in the education sector, Senator Stella Oduah's name tops the list.

"When we talk of unparalleled performance and achievements we have an endless list. Let’s take a look at few examples. In 1992, she founded SPG One of the pioneers in Indigenous service for oil and gas and has grown it into a multi million naira.

"In 2011-2014, she served as Minister of Aviation leading the transformation of the airports and aviation sector. In 2013, a major milestone was recorded in the History for Ndi Igbo for the commencement of international flight of Akanu Ibiam

In separate remark Livinus outlined some achievements of Senator Stella which according to him had impacted positively not only in the lives of her immediate constituents but South-east at large including the natio

According to him Senator Stella had in August 2021, Princess was reported to have introduced the highest number of bills in the ninth senate – with 38 bills between 2019 and 2021

Which he noted were tailored towards addressing some of the challenges of the south-east, her constituency and Nigeria. He highlighted the notable South-east Development Commission Bill; National Agricultural Programme Coordinating Agency (Est. etc.) Bill; Government Performance and Accountability Office Bill, 2019; Constituency Projects (Budgetary Provisions) Bill, 2019; Integrated Rural Development Agency (Est. etc) amongst others.

On infrastructure Stella had facilitated the construction and installation of road constructions, street lights, water borehole projects, residential housing projects. Also the road construction works at Woliwo, Onitsha South and Ndida Akili, Ogbaru.

Shortly after the meeting the group made a financial donation to support her campaign while also Commissioned hundreds of volunteers expected to rally more voters around the entire Anambra North wards in support of Senator Stella Oduah.
