Hi guys.
Please what are the requirments for one to bring a pet home? I was on a short course in the States and I have this adorable Norweigian Forest Cat. I'm going back to Nigeria and I dunno what to do with her. I really can't bear to leave her behind. How do I even travel with her? I've never done this before and will really appreciate your help :-(

its straight forward, you can go to www.pettravel.com and print out the information you need to bring pet to nigeria there. then contact your airline and get all details of what you need to bring a pet on board, and you will take all the information to your vet doctor who will administer all vaccines required and all papers as well.

@Post

I know this thread is kinda old but I thought I should still share some information in case anyone else out there is in a similar situation like the OP. There is a U.S based company called pet relocation located in Austin Texas. Their website is petrelocation.com and they pretty much transport pets all over the world from the U.S and outside the U.S including Africa. They will arrange to pick up your pet from your home and deliver the pet safely to the country wherever it is you are going.

For more info you can email them at: info@petrelocation.com

Please note, I don't work for them. A lot of expatriates with pets who go to work in other countries around the world and want to take their pets with them utilize their services and have always commented positively about their services. So check them out.
