Why can't some people in NairaLand  know when to be serious and when not to be. Is it compulsory that every tread must be turned into a comedy show.

@ bolded,i used to agree with that but now,i find it hard to.
did ivory coast not beat some one 5-0 away?
cameroon beat mauritius 5-0
ivory coast beat rwanda 5-0 away
mali beat cape verde 3-0

all those teams that lost we have played them and we basically had to pray to God/Allah whatever else we believe in to win which i am not so certain we did
nigeria, ivory coast, ghana and camerron should be spoken of in the same vein but not so.our players are in ankaragruku and we are making noise, ghana has 4 players in top clubs in serie A,ivory coast in at least every major league(most are starters )same goes for cameroon while we have players running turkey, greece, malta, vietnam?wow

It should have been obvious to you that there was no live streaming of the match. Besides, next time just search google for eg. "Madagascar +Nigeria +live stream" am sure you could have found a link yourself.

Good point, but we don't have the players to do that.

This is not the 90s.

Odemwingie, Ike Uche and Enyeama are by far our best players.

Enyeama can only be in goal, the other 2 will not get in the team of the top 10 football playing nations in the world. By world standards, they are average.

Compare them with the Messis, Etoos, Drogbas, Ozils, Christianos, Rooneys etc. But in the Nigerian team, they are miles better than the rest. What does that tell us about the rest?

Serious?  Is that not why our government itself is a comedy show? Some of the people commenting here, may one day. by hook or crook, end up in our government, and then we would wonder why nothing works in Nigeria.

Really?  Since you fancy yourself as a great comedian, I hope you will find it funny, if one day your wife tells you that your son or daughter is not yours, and then tells you later that she is joking.

Will the Eagles be able to beat Guinea when they come here for the final group match,  goal difference may even come into play even if they are beaten here?.

you guys are saying nigeria is not going forward. did villareal (on of the TOP spanish teams) not just sign Ike Uche? stop being pessimistic. I believe, from what i have seen, that SiaSia is doing this job not for the money, but for the country. he will soon gain respect of many more nigerians who were doubtful.

AND, i believe Nigeria WILL wallop madagascar today. Simple as.
