The Iwo Ayedire and Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Candidate in the 2023 general election, Alhaji Lukman Kayode Mudashiru (L&K) has described the inauguration of Senator Ademola Adeleke as Osun state Governor as an end to the era of darkness in Osun state.

He added that Osun will witness drastic changes in every sector, stating that he welcomes Osun to the Era of light.

L&K made this known while responding to questions from journalists at the swearing in ceremony in Osogbo City Stadium in Osogbo, the Osun state capital on Sunday.

He maintained that the administration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken Osun several steps backwards adding the victory of PDP at polls made it obvious that APC had been rejected.

"I must say that the era of darkness is over in Osun and I welcome Osun and the people of the state to light.

"Attributes of light are that it illuminates and it transforms, so we are here to celebrate the beginning of the transformation of Osun and you will agree with me that it's worth it.

"The immediate past government and their party have dragged us several steps backwards and what we say on July 16 sends a straight message that they have been rejected", he said.

L&K then called on the people of the state to give the government of Senator Ademola Adeleke all the support needed, to ensure that the dividend of democracy goes round the state.
