oga no problem, he will have an opportunity to prove his allegations in court....maybe you too! You people just think you can talk anyhow on the internet, you dont know you can be traced for every post you make on the internet? This one messed with the wrong person. there is a difference between abuse and slander. I can call you ugly, I can call you dumb, i can call you fat, i can call you idiot. When you start venturing into things like calling people thieves, rapists, paedophiles etc you are opening yourself up to arrest (even in the west) because people do it and get away with it, you wont know if one day the person you are slandering has been receiving endless attacks and decides they want to make a scapegoat of you.

I am fully in support of this arrest, it is about time examples are made of people who think they can just abuse people with reckless abandon on the internet. It is long overdue!!!

As if that is not bad enough, they play upon our intelligence by lavishly displaying the pictures of their graduating children from foreign Universities while the Nigeria's own were closed for 8 months. What an insult to an injury?
And when we speak up they arrest and imprison us, instead of NANS to speak up against the atrocities they are stupidly apologising. Apologising for what?

Two wrongs makes no right. Why didn't the first lady show maturity by charging the guy to court rather she decended low to intimidate a poor guy, what has the elite not said to themselves yet not arrest is made.. during time of Jonathan protest were done because of fuel price hike, how many times has this administration done price hike, all manner of name was called in Dame Jonathan even Jonathan himself.. no one made any arrest .
Go to Europe and America they call their leader different name yet no arrest.
Now someone will say is not in our culture to insult.. but the mismanagement of public funds is in our culture abi.
Shame on Apc

As we type here, the social media bill to fundamentally stop these toxic and dangerous recklessness on social media platforms is before the British parliament.

Nowhere in the world is society built to allow any reckless behaviour go unchallenged. That ill-trained boy has grown to the age of accountability for his recklessness and lack of self control so should face the music. Only a foolish child brings disgrace to his parents. He is a foolish boy that needs to be corrected especially by the law. They should not stop at him, all the other reckless accursed youths who insult and disgrace their parents and those old enough to be their parents/grandparents too should be arrested and prosecuted.

Platforms must be prosecuted too, especially that employee and owner of the platform with the responsibility to remove toxic contents need to be arrested and prosecuted too.

Nobody deserves to dump his bad behaviour and lack of home training on others whether offline or online. Most of the youths are already destroyed with curses because giving honour to anyone old enough to be your parent comes with a promise that it shall be well with you.
It is already not well with him and other youths who have ever mocked or insulted a parent online. It is not a curse, it is God's word and it never returns void.

This is what Pastor Oyedepo meant.

What of the leaders stealing our money and resources? What should we do about it? We can't arrest them, can we? The easiest thing is to call them out ...don't u think so? And in calling them out, one might be very upset..and won't know how to be polite to a thief

Why would FCT police go all the way to Jigawa to arrest Mohammed? From all indications, the 1st Lady must have instructed the FCT police to move above its jurisdiction to Jigawa to "capture" Mohammed who allegedly insulted the 1st Lady.

you claim your a born again ...I wonder if you are really born again or just plain stupid..

this is democracy...there is freedom of speech..everyone has a right to their opinion..the young man expressed his opinion...he's an adult ...what the law demands is that he be brought to court to prove whatever he's said...his fundamental human right has been trampled on...

how you managed to bring in obidients into this conversation shows how much of a myopic bigot you are...

you never for once condemned the brutal assaults on the young man...you didn't condemn his arrest, you didn't condemn the kidnap, you didn't condemn the fact that Aisha took the laws into her hands...

you were quick to condemn obidients whose role in this is non existent...

no one can curse anyone....Christ has freed us from all curses....know your Bible well...

you are one of the problems of this country...you support oppression and suppression of justice..

GEJ and his wife were insulted a hundred times more than this...and no one was kidnapped and brutalized for it....

you are just a hypocrite...
