ice one day. Identifying and studying them now is the ideal way to stay prepared ahead of time is an ideal to stay ahead. Besides, dead/inactivated viruses can be used to create antibodies. There are still a lot incurable diseases out there, and the cure will not knock on our door. Well, the Bible doesn't actually say that, but scholars deducted that the time difference between the days of Adam and the days of Abraham is 2000 years (using the ages of the generations in-between). It is also believed that Abraham lived 2000 years BC (which is about 4000 years ago). This gives a total of about 6,000 years as the age of the planet earth. I totally respect this belief. However, it heavily relies on the idea that that there was nothing before the year of creation. And that idea isn't very easy to sell given the fact that fossils of animals older than 6000 years exist. Even if you don't believe in the perfection of carbon dating and radioactivity, the fact that none of these animals were mentioned in the Bible implies they had gone into extinction before the Biblical days.
