Wailing galore NwaIdeato: Yorubanization and Fulanization na the same thing, the former is just window dressed in the false cloak of sophistication while the latter is just mediocrity-personified. Under Buhari’s fulani administration, Nigeria was absolutely and utterly useless in all ramifications. Under Ebola, the country is still stagnant, Naira to dollar rate keeps crashing, inflation rates keep soaring, poverty everywhere that even people are vandalizing food trucks in Ronuland.
This is the Nigeria of Yeriba and Fulani, two peas in the same pod of utter mediocrity and asinine cluelessness. eeetuk: "President Bola Tinubu has approved the nomination of Dr. Olayemi Michael Cardoso to serve as the new Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), for a term of five (5) years at the first instance, pending his confirmation by the Nigerian Senate"
New face of tribalism has begun! Or, do you need any introduction? Please start counting. From now on, it is going to be Yoruba. And never mind the fact that Yoruba contribute nothing to the national treasury, but they are getting the largest share of resources in Nigeria. I warned you guys many years ago. Still watching! And keep your eyes open. jadajada: He is just putting his fellow lagosians in strategic position. PaulOtl: Hmmm... All the juicy positions, he has packed them and given to his people. 🚶🚶🚶 No one should quote me , oh . I'm going to sleep. slowice: Yoruba ti take over.... Another round of nepotism after Buhari.
Vote wisely ooo e get why treesun:
Is He related to Muntairu Cardoso? Tinubu is doing well to Yorubalise the nation! Wizardslayer: Total Yorubanization of all the whole sectors.

Wailing and yanshing of teeth Zetra7: Moderators please don't delete my post. You don't have to like it but it's the truth.
Over hundred tribes with 3 dominant groups yet we justify these appointments based on merit as if there are no competent hand from other tribes.
Repeating the mistake of Buhari which caused division in the country.
Infact Buhari enthroned the whole of the North but Tinubu is taking tribalism/nepotism to a new height by focusing solely on Yourbas..
Obasanjo in his prime did exactly what Buhari did, he brought together the rest of the south and had a strong force to match the North.
Today, your kins is fighting and putting pressure on you to give them the whole juicy appointment, so desperate as if Nigeria is ending soon and they want their own bite.
Mr president, you didn't even ask if its only their vote that made you president.
Anybody supporting this madness is the real enemy of this country..
8 years of Buhari just ended, like a movie 4 years of this administraton will be done.
Even devout supporters of APC from other regions especially the North is baffled.
Peter Obi was the one alleged to have the intent to enthrone such nepotism.
Enjoy greatly o ye supporters of this madness for time will come when you wished it was otherwise..
For a president that allegedly won less than 37% of electorate, Tinubu , you can do better.
I know the pressure is from your kins Mr president but it will lead you to no where..
Your so called alliance with the North is failing, the clamour to unite themselves against you is real.
You have no concrete alliance in the South, your tribal kins don't trust anyone.
They will end up pushing you out of this seat before your time and sending Yourbas into longterm political exile.
Your biggest enemy in the future will be your greatest allies yesterday.
Am seeing the NORTH plotting with the rest of the SOUTH against you.
When this happens, these so called your kins pushing you into this decision and rejoicing today will desert and even blame you.
There is no progress without unity and no unity without fairness.. |

Chaii, May God bless whoever dugged out this topic. Igbos insulted the hell out of Yorubas during Jonathan’s government. Jonathan sidelined Yorubas, the same people that fought for him to be made President when Yaradua became incapacitated. Despite their pleas to include them he kept on with his marginalization agenda. But unlike the Igbos who are perpetual wailers, Yorubas came up with a plan, backed Buhari and he defeated Jonathan. Now for 12 years in a row the Yorubas have been at the center running shows while Igbos have lost out. Instead of the Igbos to devise a plan to attain power they’ll rather wail, threaten mayhem or even destroy their own land. I love this contest between Yorubas and Igbos. Like Igbokwe said, 2031 is settled already, power goes back to the North. Igbos have between now and that time to build bridges and gather support across the country to produce the President in 2039. But I’m sure they’ll likely blow the chance and their nemesis, Yorubas will be planning carefully as usual to take the chance and have the Presidency back to SW. Only Intelligent political observers have realized that the Fulanis and the Yorubas have a sinister plan to keep rotating the Presidency amongst themselves, it will only take a superior political plan or natural cause like the one that Jonathan, for their sinister plan to be altered. 13 Likes |

Political leaders and socio-cultural organizations from the South-East geo-political zone have tackled President Bola Tinubu over perceived lopsidedness in the ministerial nominations, describing his action as a calculated attempt to continue the marginalization of Ndigbo.
The Igbo leaders accused the All Progressives Congress, APC, of a deliberate policy to exclude the region from Nigeria’s political equation and further the marginalization from where President Muhammadu Buhari stopped. |

The Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA), a civil society group, has accused President Bola Tinubu of nepotism, alleging that most of the key appointments in his government were allotted to Nigerians from his ethnic group.
HURIWA made this known in a statement issued by its coordinator, Emmanuel Onwubiko, stressing that the recent appointments of the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service given to Yoruba people are an attestation.
“With President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent approval of the nomination of Olayemi Cardoso to serve as the substantive new Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), some 48 hours after appointing Zachaeus Adedeji as the acting chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, the strong perception that the President is pushing an unseemly pro-ethnic agenda became worryingly stronger,” the group said.
“Adedeji is to “serve in an acting capacity for 90 days before his subsequent confirmation as the substantive chairman of FIRS for a term of four years in the first instance.
”With a little over 100 days on the saddle, the President’s appointments have shown he appears to have special consideration for people from his South-West region, especially those with links to Lagos State.”
The group cautioned Tinubu, who it accused of assembling his Yoruba and Lagos connections into his government, not to follow the path of his predecessor, former President Muhamamdu Buhari, who reportedly did the same during his eight years in power, stressing that the
It said, “If President Tinubu’s appointment of new service (chiefs) sparked new hope and drew deserved plaudits in that it recognised the nation’s diversity, his subsequent appointments curiously depart from that template.

The Book of lamentation ogododo: The APC members under the banner of Progressive Change Ambassadors of Nigeria (PCAN) said that mainly people from the South West region are being appointed to top positions by the President.
Some members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) have accused President Bola Tinubu of lopsided appointments in his administration.
The APC members under the banner of Progressive Change Ambassadors of Nigeria (PCAN) said that mainly people from the South West region are being appointed to top positions by the President.
In a statement by PCAN Executive Director, Alhaji Abdulkareem Ubaydah and Secretary, Muhammad Rabiu Awwal E, the group accused Tinubu of ignoring competent and qualified individuals from other ethnic groups in the country.
“Mr. President, we write to you today as concerned citizens of Nigeria and deeply troubled members of your party – the All Progressives Congress (APC) to express our deep concern about the perceived imbalance in your political appointments so far,” the statement read.
“We have observed that a significant majority of these appointments have been made from your southwest geopolitical zone and especially from your ethnic group – the Yorubas, to the exclusion of other qualified and competent individuals from other parts of the country.
“This has led to widespread feelings of alienation and resentment among Nigerians from other parts of the country. While we understand that you are entitled to appoint people you trust and believe in, we as stakeholders in the political party under which you assumed office as President of Nigeria, reserve the right to urge you to consider the importance of national unity and inclusiveness in your appointments.
“It is important to remember always that you are the President of all Nigerians, not just that of Yorubas of the southwest geopolitical zone.”
The APC group further urged the President to ensure balance in coming appointments.
“Your political appointments should therefore reflect the diversity of our nation and ensure that all Nigerians have a voice in your government,” the statement read.
“Unfortunately, your appointments to date have fallen far short of this standard. For instance, control of Nigeria’s economy has been ceded exclusively to South-west Yorubas as all appointments in that sector has been filled by them.
"Additionally, of 20 presidential aides appointed by you, 15 are from your geopolitical zone and ethnicity. Also, in the recent appointments of presidential Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants, 8 are Yorubas from the South-West! Also worthy of note are the facts that the Inspector-general of Police, Controller-generals of Nigeria Customs and Immigration Services respectively, as well as the Chief of Army Staff are all members of your ethnic group.
“This is clear imbalance which sends a message that you are not committed to building a united and inclusive Nigeria. We need not remind you Mr. President, of the circumstances surrounding your election victory as the South-West, propagandized by divisive, faith-based political rhetoric of the opposition, seemingly abandoned you to your fate leaving the other geopolitical zones, especially the North-West and North-Central to do the heavy lifting needed, votes-wise, for your victory.
“Shunning them for those who stood by and did pitifully little is not how to reward their tremendous labour of love on behalf of your successful aspiration. We urge you to reconsider your approach to political appointments and to make a concerted effort to include people from all geopolitical zones in your government. This is essential for building trust and ensuring that all Nigerians feel represented in their government.
“This is the only way to ensure that all Nigerians have a fair chance to contribute to the development of our country and to live in a united and prosperous nation. One of the duties of the President is to ensure that the government is representative of the people. By appointing people from all geopolitical zones, you will be fulfilling this duty and living up to the oath you took as President.
“This is the only way to ensure that all Nigerians have a fair chance to contribute to the development of our country and to live in a united and prosperous nation. We hope you will give our concerns raised in this letter serious consideration and take action to address them.”

DaTruths: Buhari appointed his Northerners from the far end of North-West to the Far end of North-East.
Tinubu clamored for Southern Presidency, the whole Governors of Southern origin had a meeting at Asaba which birthed the Asaba Declaration where we all agreed that Power must return to South.
The South was somewhat in unity on it.
Now Tinubu has become the president, but unfortunately the president for the South-West.
He is appointing mostly Yorubas, Southern Presidency indeed.
He should remember that Buhari was nepotic, but he opened his arm across the whole North.
But Tinubu doesn't want to open his arm across the whole South.
Quite unfortunate because this should be the turn of the South not just South-West. Did the South vote for him ? Did he win in the South? Don't be dishonest. In the SE he did not get 25% in any state In the SS how many states did he win? Don't be a hypocrite 1 Like |
