NATO is defensive sha. I don't think US ever planned to go to war with Russia. NATO jets fly over Ukraine and monitor the situation to give intelligence to Ukraine. NATO jets just ignore Russian jets. Neither NATO nor Russia want to go to war with each other.

China is another story sha. It looks like they want world dominance which may lead to WW3 between China and US.
