Sanwo-Olu is a smart Politician who has strong grass root support of the owners of Lagos(NURTW, Market Women, Omo onile, indegenes, Alaba Hausa community, Ibo community), Ambode simply got lucky through Tinubu asking people to step down for him he couldn't have won Lagos primaries as a mere civil servant and an accountant, Sanwo-Olu won the direct primaries defeating Ambode

Hamzat was his strongest competition and he made him a deputy, he was also smart to chase Jandor and his group out of APC

You are quite right to some extent. But what you missed is that Ambode completely neglected the grassroot politicians not lagosians. At that time, the grassroot politicians were all against him. Tinubu had to get involve to avoid disunity within the party. Sanwolou has been very succesfull so far in trying to balance his administration and politics. He simply just go around doing his job as governor without interferring in the party's politics.

No one chased Jandor. I am still of the strong opinion that jandor is more like a strategic clown-opponent for APC. I think he is planted there. And PDP fell for the trap.

I mean can a party be so bad to make a jandor as governorship candidate in a state like Lagos? A jandor that just decamped. APC threw jandor to PDP, to test PDP political might. And they were proved right. PDP is done.

How this guy secured his reelection effortlessly is something that still baffles. Granted he made some strides but so did Ambode and Fashola but they had to scrap it out and the former didn't even get it at all.

Is it that the powers that be(oga landlord who discovered and founded Lagos) didn't want to be seen as being high-handed or what exactly happened.

Anyways there's no opposition in Lagos State. The earlier Atiku and Obi understand it, the better for them so they can direct resources elsewhere. But who will tell them the truth?

He did not ignore the grassroot. No visible crack between him and his deputy. He gave recognition to all groups. Moreso, he did not abandoned projects of former regime.

There is a difference between working and having sense? Ambode worked but failed politically. Sanwo seemed to pass both.

Look this life is more than just been intelligent, hardworking and industrious. You need to network and read the room. Ambode didn't read the room well!

Really? I thought once he functions as Asiwaju's Lagos campaign director, that's it?

I'll vote for him though - because of the blue line and red line.

A greater Lagos with no pipe-borne water, central sewage system, or motorable roads. Our roads are built without pavements, markings, traffic lights, street lights or signages. The traffic in Lagos is so insane, workers wake up by 4 am only to get to work by 9 am. What is LASG doing with our N50B monthly taxes?

Lagosians pay the highest taxes in Nigeria. In fact, double VAT on all edibles bought in Lagos. Every Lagosian is his own local council, he provides his own water, sewage system, electricity, and gas, and pays for private security in his estate. What is that thing Lagos state does for us after collecting our taxes? Where are the hospitals or good schools for our children? Where are the emergency first-responders when you need them? Where are the basic amenities citizens enjoy in their state?

Greater Lagos my ass! We must vote APC out and take back our state.
