Youths in Jigawa State and other parts of Nigeria have been urged to massively vote against the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates at all levels during the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

This was contained in a statement by the Deputy Director, Media and Publicity, Santuraki Campaign Director (SCD),Umar Kyari Jitau Madamuwa on Friday

The statement quoted the Director, National Youth Campaign Council (NYCC), Alh. Bello Badayi who made the call during a meeting in Dutse.

He pointed to the failure of APC government to secure the lives of Nigerians as one of the cogent reasons why they should be rejected in totality.

Badayi also urged youth in Jigawa state to rally around and vote for the PDP Gubernatorial candidate, Dr Mustapha Sule Lamido, in view of the qualitative policies/programmes he has for the development of the state particularly youth and women.

He congratulated the PDP in Jigawa and Nigeria for having Dr Mustapha Lamido and Alh. Atiku Abubakar as the Gubernatorial and Presidential candidates respectively.

The first meeting which was held at the Directorate’s conference hall was attended by all the newly reconstituted Executive Committee members.
