The presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, Labour Party, Peter Obi and of New Nigeria Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso, have shown up for the town hall organised by Arise TV.

Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, was listed as one of the participants but his campaign team had stated that he would not be attending the event.
