I recently created a Geegpay account for my Upwork account.

Then I tried to link the two together; I added my Geegpay as a payment method on Upwork.

Since then, I've been seeing NAME MISMATCHED on my Upwork, even though, the names on the two platforms are exactly the same.

I contact both platforms. A Geegpay agent asked me to send a screenshot of my name on Upwork to confirm if the names are the same on both platform.

And she has replied that the names are exactly the same. Meanwhile, Upwork has not replied me since.

Now, I'm wondering why I'm seeing NAME MISMATCHED when it's obvious that the names are correct.

I'm thinking maybe it's because I'm using a Nigerian Upwork account — as in, the location on my Upwork account states IBADAN, NIGERIA.

Can anyone help?
