Give her belle and when it reach 3 months, go check the genotype of the baby. If it's SS, you keep aborting until you get at least one AS. But make sure it's a boy child.

Both of you should visit a general hospital, visit the ward where sickle cell patience are taken care of, observe the difficulties they are in. Spend sometime and then ask yourselves if this is what you wish your children to look like . If yes go ahead.

Having a sickle cell child should be a last thought in your mind, do you know the money you will spend on hospital bills, the emotional damage, the pains you would feel seeing your child screaming in pains asking you to save him|her.

Let her go! You both would get over the hurt and disappointment that came from the separation due to unmatched genotype.

If I were in a relationship with someone I really love for 5 years I honestly wouldn't be able to end it just because of genotype. Instead I would rather still get married but then we'll just agree not to have our own children but to adopt instead.
