INEC Hoarding Pvcs Of New Registrants by Naira20: 12:17pm On Dec 13, 2022 |
We are observing the complicity of INEC. Many of the new registrants were told to check in October. These enthusiastic new registrants went there but were asked to return in November. This they did but were disappointed again. The officials promised that by the second week of December they'd get it unfailingly. Guess what, they have shifted it to January 2023. I decided to visit one of the INEC offices to see things and get firsthand information. I was told that those being issued PVCs now are those who transferred their place of residence. I was curious to know why it'd be easier to produce a new PVC for these people whereas it'd take about 7months to produce same for the new registrants. I stayed back a little to observe more. I noticed the INEC officials deliberately wants to frustrate people. I decided to do something...I walked out.Saw someone that looked like an agbero. I greeted him and asked if he was going for his PVC..Yes, he said. I asked if he is a new registrant...Yes, he answered. Please, go back, I advised. But to my surprise, he said someone called him yesterday that they've found his PVC. I was taken aback. This confirmed my suspicion. The cards are ready but INEC is in cahoots with APC. They are afraid of the new registrants who are likely to vote massively against APC. Why are journalists not investigating INEC? Why are they less interested in the collection of PVCs? As much as it's important to interview the politicians, it's more important to monitor the process and ensure electorates are not disenfranchised by the political umpire. Let's monitor INEC |

The country is littered with corrupt people at the helms of affairs. God save Nigeria. |
