What Happened To Chioma's Business Because She Didn't Do CAC Registration by Ffbt(m): 6:25pm On Dec 13, 2022
Chioma started a small business in 2016. She started to make more sales and have more customers. Her business because popular in town and she was already opening more shops in other parts of the town.


She was popularly referred to as Chiomama.
Chiomama is the name of her business and her customers increased daily.

Her customers started to tell her they won't pay to her personal account any longer. They said they feel more comfortable paying to her company's account.

She later realised she could not even get access loans and grants to support and expand her business.

She is into sales of motor spare parts.


5 years later, she now decided to register her business with the Corporate Affairs Commission(CAC), she couldn't use the name she was known as.
"Chiomama" has been used by another business.
It was a painful experience.
She now discovered in business structure is important.

Registering a business is part of structuring.

There are some things every business owners need to put in place in business.
The earlier the better.
