The contract, announced on December 12, 2023, includes options for two more Global 6500s within three years. The first aircraft is expected to be delivered on October 1, 2024.

The aircraft, known for its large cabin and 6,600 nautical miles range, will be a prototype for the Aerial Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms.

HADES aims to enhance the Army’s ISR capabilities against peer and near-peer adversaries, providing increased range, speed, endurance, and deep-sensing capabilities.
