Iron dome is not over hyped rather a simple technology that we apply in our day to day activities.

See my attached picture below.
In marine, the subject is called rendezvous sailing/navigation.
It is also applicable in aviation which isreal modified to missiles technology.
It is very simple.
I will try and break it down as simple as possible.
Let's paint a scenario where armed robbers raided mowe/ibafo and started driving to Ogere, signals were sent to police at sagamu to intercept the escaping robbers at sagamu interchange/round about.
Knowing the car speed of the armed robbers from mowe and a known direction (unchanged straight forward direction makes it easier to meet likewise missiles), the police in sagamu can use the information to know how much speed they need to use to meet the armed robbers at interchange.
In other words, colliding or neutralizing a missile.
If mowe to interchange is 50km and robbers are driving at 25km/hour, it will take them 2 hours to get to interchange provided all other factors like traffic, car breakdown are zero.
If sagamu to interchange is 25km, then the police car has to drive for just 12.5km/h to get there in 2 hours to meet the armed robbers.
Same principle for missiles.
We all know many Iran's missiles specifications, speed per hour and total distance covered.
So when Iran shots, immediately it gets to isreal's long range rather, they click on it using arpa/radar to determine the speed and direction, which inturn gives possible landing area and time to explosion area, using this information, they shot a counter missile to meet it at a rendezvous point and blow it up.
In navigation, it can be speed, time and direction needed for navy boat at Epe to intercept a bunkering boat coming from takes bay going to warri.
It can be speed, direction and time for navy to intercept a cocaine laden vessel.
It can be anything
From my picture below, Iran shoots a missile from a point T, isreal counters the missile firing from point O to intercept at point R

Very well explained. I should add that this only works for ballistic missiles, like the ones Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah use, since those fly in a highly predictable manner.

It doesn't work (except in very specific situations) for tactical missiles since those fly in an unpredictable manner and can hide in the terrain, making them harder to detect.

This is why Ukraine's western air defence largely fails against Russia while Israel's has been more successful against Hamas.

Russia uses tactical missiles. Hamas uses ballistic missiles.

Israel was also able to intercept Iran's missiles to some extent because Iran used ballistic missiles.

The tables will turn when Israel finds itself at the receiving end of a tactical missile barrage. The iron dome will become a joke at that point.

⚡Russian Afrika Corps brought with them not only pickup trucks and water barrels, but also heavier equipment to Tobruk, Libya.

At a minimum, Grad MLRS and BTR-82A were spotted.

Equipment and weapons of the “African Corps” of the Russian Armed Forces was delivered by large Russian landing ships “Ivan Gren” and “Alexander Otrakovsky” to the port of Libyan Tobruk.

You are right.
Missiles are just like let's say cars.
Hamas is like the armed robbers I wrote above but with bikes, so the police patrol van (isreal missiles) will easily catch them at rendezvous point.
Iran also used cars to attack as a decoy just to keep isreal's patrol van busy and after sometime, another set of Iran's armed robbers used a faster car (hypersonic missile) e.g Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bugatti that will outrun the police van before getting to the point.
There are many hypersonic missiles - Formula 1 cars with baddddd speed, power bikes that combines speed with maneuvers etc
Now the question is, how can isreal neutralize missiles changing directions - kinda hard.
When a missile is shot, it is tracked with a missile A, hoping the missile will continue in it's direction let's say DD', then all of a sudden it changes direction to EE', missile A will miss it but another missile B would be triggered taking direction EE' into consideration as the new direction.
And they will keep shooting different missiles as Iran's missiles keep changing directions.
That is why they said they have different layers of air defence and not just one.
These different layers is to keep shooting down a missile as it keeps changing direction.
Now, I think the isrealis should be really really worried that after different layers of air defence with a 12 days advance to prepare, all hypersonic missiles still entered.
That is worrisome and those are not even the best of Iran.
Also, a big factory that determines the success of missiles are speed, distance and manuervering capability of the missile.
Hypersonic missiles can be stopped to an extent if shot from Russia to isreal than Iran to Israel because it will give them enough time to detect the characteristics of the missile and tackle it.
A power bike on escape from Lagos to Ibadan can easily be intercepted by a police coming from Ijebu ode compared to if the power bike is moving from redemption camp.
Reason while US has been citing her bases all round the world close to her enemies while she will gladly flatten any country that will cite Russia or china bases close to her

You are right about Russia but I think you are mixing the missiles up. Hamas uses makeshift rockets which work like a ballistic missile with much much less efficiency. The iron dome cannot stop ballistic missiles and it is not designed to do so. That job belongs to the Arrow system. Even Hezbollah rarely sends ballistic missiles towards Israel even though they have thousands of them. Maybe they are saving them until real shit happens

Even with the best defense system, a barrage of ballistic missiles are hard to stop unless you have multiple countries helping you to stop them.

⚡Private military companies from the US and Canada can be contracted to pilot F-16s in Ukraine, French aviation expert Cyrille de Lattre told Sputnik.

"There is a possibility to attract trained pilots. In fact, there are two private companies in the world: the Canadian Top Aces and the American Draken International - military companies that already have 100 percent trained pilots for F-16s... In the worst-case scenario, these two private military companies can be contracted to operate these aircraft in Ukraine."

According to the analyst, there are many problems with the training of Ukrainian pilots who, among other issues, have a poor command of English. The only thing they have been able to do is to fly F-16s from base to base in Europe while military operations are not carried out by Ukrainian pilots, de Lattre stressed.

Poor command of English shouldn't be an excuse. Don't they have instructors to teach the pilots in Russian or Ukrainian languages?

If the pilots doesn't understand English then they should be taught in the language they understand.

Na everyday I dey see donations of f16, they hear of am, dey read of am yet non has been use on the battle ground. The life no balance oo. This jet give some kind people motivations last year sha. Yet dem neva use one for battle. Game changer indeed

Yep. You got it. Thanks for the clarification.

Hamas uses unguided rockets that fly in a ballistic tragectory. They are not considered missiles because of their smaller weight and speed.

Latvia and Lithuania, which stopped purchasing grain from Russia in May 2023, began purchasing grain from Russia again in February.

It is quite tragic that they again had to resort to Russia to avoid a food crisis when they imposed sanctions on Russia, which is next to them, and threw their economies into chaos.

Sanctions must be carried out perfectly...

❗️The moratorium on the deployment of medium- and short-range missiles (IRMS) in Russia will end if the US deploys such systems anywhere in the world
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.

Russian Ambassador to the USA Anatoly Antonov said that the deployment of American missiles would be a black day for international security.

Earlier, the US, within the framework of exercises, first deployed IRBMs in the Philippines, which were prohibited by the collapsed Treaty on the Elimination of Medium- and Short-Range Missiles.

The White House was furious that it was not consulted before taking such an aggressive step.

US officials said Israel miscalculated, did not recognize the attack as an escalatory step, and did not think Iran would respond in such a serious manner.

🇮🇱⚔🇮🇷 Israel's most likely response to Iran found

Israel, under pressure from the US, has promised a "worthy response to Iran in due time" after the April 13-14 attack. But when that time will come and what the response will be, the Israeli authorities do not specify. But the local press quite clearly lists the options - from the harshest to the mildest. And The Wall Street Journal made a very specific assumption.

US-UK sanctions against Russian metals to sting West and break dollar monopoly

The Anglo-American sanctions against Russian aluminum, copper, and nickel exports have already had a detrimental impact on Western economies and the dominance of the dollar, although its effect on the Russian economy remains to be seen.

The US Treasury Department on Friday slapped a ban on the import of Russian metals, resulting in the prohibition of trading Russian aluminum, copper, and nickel on the London Metal Exchange and Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

As a consequence, it is probable that the Shanghai Metals Market will receive increased supplies of Russian metals traded in Chinese yuan.

“There is always a way to work around sanctions. If something is desperately needed, people will find a way [to buy it]," explains Thomas Pauken, a consultant on Asia-Pacific affairs and author of a book on US-Chinese trade relations.

The very next day after the announcement of the A...

The Iranian ship Bashad left the waters off the coast of Yemen on April 4 and is expected to dock at the port of Bandar Abbas in Iran today, Bloomberg reports.

The ship, believed to be a Houthi intelligence and operations base to help attack ships at sea, left its mooring near Yemen three days after the attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.

It has since turned off its transponders and was discovered today near the Strait of Hormuz. The ship is considered a potential target for Israeli attack, and since it left its mooring, the number of Houthi attacks in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden has dropped significantly.
