You are just trying to cope. I know you didn't see Arab countries standing up to the US and Israel, and agreeing to arm Hezbollah, coming.

For your information, Hezbollah succeeded where the Arab nations failed. It engaged Israel in a war in 2006 and defeated Israel. Arab nations failed at that.

Also, talking about "combined Arab armies", you should know that the so-called "Arab" armies that went into the war went independently. Many of them were still trying to stand on their feet at the time, plus the fact that the US was solidly behind Israel.
