1. S400 is meant to intercept missiles, not drones.
2. The airport is a civilian airport, not a military base so no military equipment is located near it in accordance with military code of honour (russian military doesn't hide their military equipment in civilian areas contrary to Ukrainian military).
3. Given the picture, I bet the picture taker is also the person who flew the drone, that shows that the terrorist who flew the drone did it from a close position to the airport.

Your assumption that the drones were flown from Ukraine are nothing but assumptions no matter what words you use. The fact a person near the impact zone was there waiting for the impact and taking pictures which were then sent to Ukrainian propaganda units shows that it is very possible that the picture taker might have flown the drone from a close position to the impact zone. No kind of air defense can do anything against that, unless you know an air defense which can intercept a stone thrown to your face.

Just one question if a high attitude drone like the US pRQ-4 Global Hawk or the MQ-20 Avenger drones which fly above 60,000 feet were to breach Russia airspace, what system would be used to take it down?? Oga the s400 is used for all types of threats
