Striking a nuke plant won't do Zelensky any good, and he will never make such a mistake, Zelensky and Ukraine has rode on this war being the viticm, the victim of an aggressive bigger more powerful neighbour, Striking a nuke plant won't do them any good and the image they so jealously want to protect. Also a failed nuclear reactor and a possible spillage won't be good for everyone including Ukraine itself considering the close proximity to Russia a nuclear fallout will affect Ukraine also. Ukraine may try to seize the plant but Striking it with missiles is not a plausible thing for the Ukrainians considering the level of risks involved.

That is why I laughed at one funny dude who claims Ukraine would intentionally target its own nuclear reactor the largest in Europe and cause a nuclear meltdown and bring about a catastrophic disaster on its own land When infact they tried to takeout Russian military installations on the plant facility and not the ones housing the reactors themselves.

Regarding ww3, as long as there is no direct provocation from Russia against NATO member nations there is no threats of a direct confrontation between the US and Russia thus limiting the possibility of ww3, No NATO’s countries will involved themselves in the Ukraine war the best they will do is sending weapons and providing training, the US did it during the Soviet Afghanistan war,the Soviet did same during the Korea war, and the Vietnam war. The big boys will always try not to involved themselves in a direct confrontation while fighting through proxies.

The only way i see Russia upping the ante is by providing Hamas and other terrorist long range weapons, but me and you know Russia lacks the political will to armed non state actors.
