In this new century

Century is 100 years ba?, The war started in 1979, 1979 till date is not even half a century. A insurgency style warfare is not an easy task to maneuver even for the best militaries.

$8b? Are you kidding me?
That means this war is not stopping any time soon.
It is well

They call it "Trump-proofing", ensuring Ukraine still have enough funds to continue the war incase Trump becomes the president and stop funding them.

It is the most overhyped Israeli army brigade. I remember Israel used to hype them as if they were some invisible force staffed by indestructible humans, only for them to fall flat on their faces once they entered the war.

Is that so?

Israel did worse in 2006. It bombarded the hell out of Lebanon. Israel had the upper hand at the beginning of the war because of the air bombardments but Hezbollah leveled the playing field and later got the upper hand once Israel entered Lebanon.

The premise of “ground invasion by the Israelis would not start except the whole place has been bombarded with airstrikes” wouldn’t work with Hezbollah for two reasons.

The first is that Hezbollah possesses long range weapons, specifically rockets and missiles, that can strike Israel. So, it will continue to respond to Israel’s airstrikes with those. And Hezbollah won;t fire blindly. Instead, it will target the very soldiers that Israel has staged across the border and intends to use for the invasion.

So, the soldiers will either have to attack sooner or later, or continue suffering casualties from the missiles Hezbollah will fire at them after every Israeli airstrike.

Hezbollah isn’t like Hamas that is generally lacking in the missile department and only has a few thousand rockets. Most of Hamas’ rockets are cheap stuff made of fertilizer and sugar inside iron pipes. Hezbollah’s missiles are the type of stuff you will find in the arsenal of armies. Mind you, Hezbollah rivals the armies of several countries and is stronger than the Lebanese army.

The second is the fact that mopping with ground forces only works if the enemy is totally or partly destroyed, or at least, the ability of the enemy to fight is seriously suppressed. This can work with conventional militaries, as the US did to Iraq. But it will not work with unconventional forces like Hezbollah or even Hamas.

These guys don’t have static bases from where they operate and they don’t use armor, aircraft, ships, and all those heavy weapons conventional forces carry around. The bulk of their forces are men with rifles, RPGs, anti-tank weapons, landmines, IEDs and other light weapons. Basically, things you cannot see or destroy from the air. You must meet them on the battlefield to destroy them.

Plus most of their positions are underground. So what will Israel bomb?

Israel can only bomb civilians and nothing else. If Israel wants to win, it must go underground. But Israel didn't even go underground in Gaza, so it clearly wouldn't go underground in Lebanon. Underground warfare is something that has never been explored. Subterranean warfare as they call it, is something no army has ever fought and no army will probably never win.
Nicely put.

Israel is putting pressure on the US now for a ceasefire with Hezbollah.

I believe the number is higher than 10k and its rising. Otherwise, there'd be no need trying to force-conscript the Haredis.

Even Nairaland bias zio-mods put a 70,000 disabled IDF report on the front page.

Israel threatened to invade Lebanon to push Hezbollah beyond the Litani river. Hezbollah is also threatening to push Israel beyond Lebanon into Galilee.

Yeah that's true Hamas is winning the war in Gaza 10k plus death in Gaza and Nateyahu is seeking to kill another 10k plus solders in Lebanon.

He is Mad.

Idiot.

Israel lost 10k in Gaza but is still going to fight Hezbollah. Transferred solders from the south to the north.

When was the last time hamas launched rockets.

What's the use launching crude rockets when Hezbollah is doing such a good job with missiles all over Israel on Hamas' behalf?

Hamas is busy roasting IDF in their Merkava tanks. Just yesterday, an ambush was done on a convoy of Merkava in Gaza.

How Russia/USSR Helped India in 1971 War Against Pakistan:

In December 1971, the US sent warships to the Bay of Bengal to threaten India on Pakistan’s behalf.

However, the Soviet Union responded by sending nuclear-armed submarines and destroyers to confront the US Navy.

In the end, the US was forced to backdown.

I wonder what the world would have look like without Russia in it checking USA

I saw this👇 somewhere. Can anyone confirm if its true?

Dear friends! We ask for maximum repost!
The Ukrainian military, during the retreat from Novohrodivka (Pokrovske direction), staged another massacre of civilians.
About 180 people, mostly women, children and the elderly, were hiding in basements in the village, waiting for the arrival of the Russian army.
During the retreat, the Ukrainian military methodically bypassed all residential buildings and killed everyone they could find. There are recorded acts of burning of living people, including children, along with their homes. Only seven people remained alive in the village.

⚡Russian forces targeted the Motor Sich factory in the Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine with an Iskander-M missile.

This factory is known for producing engines for various aircraft, including UAVs.

The attack reportedly damaged a workshop that produces components for unmanned aerial vehicles, specifically the AI-450 engines.

These AI-450 series turboprop engines, produced by Motor Sich's subsidiary Ivchenko-Progress, are used in the Turkish-made AKINCI combat UAV.

Don't mind them, many best military in the world tend to struggle against opponent’s who are using asymmetric tactics.

Russia failed to take keiv and many urban cities because the Ukrainians were busy ambushing its armoured columns using the terrain and employing guerrilla tactics against the invading Russians, but down the plain field of the dombass you can see them(Russians) having some good runs.

The USA struggled in Afghanistan and Vietnam also because of this same tactics being deployed, also the Soviet in Afghanistan, the Nigerian army for many years is also struggling to fight and win an insurgency type of warfare in the north, some clowns here will say boko haram is better and can defeat the Nigeria military, the same Nigerian army whose reputation and records on peace keeping missions is one to be reckoned with.

Hamas and hazebollah would never fight the isrealis conventionally, this insurgency type of warfare is hard. there are no front lines, you can't even differentiate between combatants and non combatants until its way to late

⚡Trump:

Ukraine is no more because they refused to enter into a "bad deal" in 2022.

They simply do not know what to do, because Ukraine no longer exists. Cities and towns cannot be restored, and the dead cannot be brought back.

Even the worst deal would be better than what we have now. We continue to give billions to Zelensky, who refuses to make a deal.

A bad deal would be better: everyone would be alive and the buildings would be standing.

Ukraine is running out of soldiers and they are using children and the elderly.

The victory of Kamala Harris will mean more victims and destroyed cities.

⚡At least 4 Russian Kinzhal hypersonic missiles have been launched over the past couple of hours.

All of them struck the city of Starokostyantyniv in Khmelnytskyi Oblast hitting the airfield there.

In one case, the sirens sounded after explosions were reported, indicating a degradation in the Ukrainian radar system.

⚡Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson demands from Ukrainian President Zelenskyy to fire Oksana Markarova, Ukraine's Ambassador to the United States.

This request stems from Markarova's organization of Zelenskyy's recent visit to a munitions factory in Scranton, Pennsylvania, which Johnson characterized as a politically motivated event aimed at supporting Democrats ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

Johnson accused the ambassador of engaging in actions that constitute "blatant election interference."

This was stated by Hungary's Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto during a political discussion at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

🇱🇧l🇮🇱l🇨🇦 Two Canadians - Daad & Hussein Tabaja - are among those killed in southern Lebanon.

Their son says they were trying to leave their home in the south and were hit by an airstrike while stuck in heavy traffic.

In a statement, Global Affairs Canada said they are "aware of the deaths of two Canadian" and have "received one request for consular assistance related to injuries recently sustained during the attacks.

The Canadian government didn't ask Israel for justifications or explanations.
