When Elon Musk took over the role of CEO of Twitter at the end of October and drastically fired half of its employees at the start of November, it severely impacted the U.S. employees. But many of those in other countries with stronger employee protections were angry and criticized Twitter's apparent flouting of their national laws.
Now some of those fired employees are now fighting back with varying degrees of success.
After Musk took over Twitter, he unbanned controversial figures like the former U.S. president Donald Trump and American rapper Kanye West. Musk has even recently called out "activist employees" on Twitter while making his strongest statement against woke politics on Monday.
