As part of efforts to support conducive learning and boost education, the Chairman Ichie Ubasinachi Foundation, Ichie Chibuzor Val Ubanede (Dioka Anafuanya) gave a face-lift to his alma mater (Umuohi Central School Okija). The Foundation floored some Classrooms, provided twenty five - 3 Seater desk and Educational Support to the pupils.

In a phone call interview with newsmen, Ichie Ubasinachi noted with gladness the joy that radiates within the heart of the pupils and teachers of Umuohi Central school Okija.

He said, the gesture was aimed at making his alma mater a conducive place for learning. And he would not stop anytime soon until the school becomes one of the best in the state.

He applauded the Okija Educational Committee for their wonderful job so far and in leading the delivery of the reading desk and the completion of the flooring projects. He further quoted the School’s Headmistress words; "that the compatibility of the classroom and the environment enhances the effectiveness of teaching and learning"

Ubasinachi Okija through his NGO, Ichie Ubasinachi Foundation has previously offered scholarships to pupils and students in Okija community and her environs, provided relief materials to the less privileged, skill acquisition training and Empowerment to the youths.
