Defect can occur from a spoilt or stuck brass valve, causing gas leakage or the flow of gas to stop. Valve on the LPG cylinder allows the gas to pass through the regulator, the hose pipe to the gas stove/appliance being fuelled. The brass valve is the only part that is not stationary.

There is no fixed repairs for brass valve, so you need to install a new one, as they cannot be repaired. If the cylinder bottle is leaking from the valve diaphragm, do not keep indoors. Most times, it just reset itself.
