Burna Boy has recently released a mini-documentary titled "Whiskey", named after his single taken from his 'Love Damini' album. The documentary highlights the severe environmental and societal problems affecting his hometown of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, such as pollution and poverty.
It also features conversations between locals which included a doctor, traders, and a flood victim who sadly lost her son due to pollution in the area as well as focusing on the topic of how crude oil waste has polluted the city's water and the damaging effects it is having on the health of local people.
At an exclusive screening of the documentary in London, Burna Boy said "Everything was a lot worse than the way I left it. The air was fully polluted; everything would be black when you woke up, even the cars. It really what you see in the documentary".
