..... as Umo Eno donates 2Million to beneficiaries

Yesterday, December 20, 2022 marked a great turnaround in the lives of eight indigenes of Ini Local Government Area as the Member representing Ini State Constituency and Chief Whip of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Bassey, empowered the eight constituents.

The brief empowerment presentation coincided with the unveiling of the BRUUKEP CANVASSERS for Umo Eno and Akon Eyakenyi championed by the Lawmaker.

The event which took place immediately after the People Democratic Party campaign berthed at the local government council secretariat was held at his Constituency Office, Odoro Ikpe, Ini Local Government Area.

A total of six beneficiaries smiled home with new cars while two others went home with documents for lands situated in the city of Uyo.

Making the presentation and unveiling the Canvassers Group, the Akwa Ibom State PDP Governorship Candidate, Pastor Umo Eno extolled the good gestures of Hon. Bassey, describing him as one who has genuine love for his people and their wellbeing. He also applauded the lawmaker for appreciating the support of his people over the years.

Pastor Umo Eno, in solidarity with Hon. Bassey's gesture, donated 1Million naira to the Bruukep Canvassers Group and another 1Million Naira to the land beneficiaries.

The Ini Lawmaker, Hon. Bassey, in an interview with newsmen thanked God for giving him the grace to do good for his Constituents.

"I am thankful to God for His Grace and to my constituents for giving me the mandate to represent them." He said.

The Ini born lawmaker, who is a custodian of peace, truth, and hard-work, stressed that Ini local government have many good reasons to vote massively for PDP, assured that the LGA would benefit from the incoming administration of Pastor Umo Eno. He added that the PDP flag bearers in Akwa Ibom remain the most capable and most experienced of all the candidates in other party.

The highly respected mobilizer further explained that with Umo Eno's vast business acumen, exposure on a global scale, no hurdle with him as governor from 2023 shall be insurmountable.

Those who received Land gift were:
1. Mr Etim Edem Office (Ward 3)
2. Mr David Uki (Ward 2)
