Can a Nigerian company use their Nigerian business registration to do business in South Africa without having to register in SA? |

Hi all, Please note that there is an exception to a foreign company registering in Nigeria. In most cases, such exceptions are usually given to foreign companies invited to carry out a specific project by either tier of governments. There are other exceptions. @ OP, you have to register your SA company afresh in Nigeria. Thanks. |

thanks for the insight. What if i want to act through an independent company as a subsidiary will it work?We want to do the the training aspect first then survey the market for our service, before registering. Please kindly shed more light on this for me |

Yeah, you can collaborate for training as well as survey. I know a lot of local companies that can do both (respectively) however, going FORWARD, you cannot do business in Nigeria as a foreign company without registration or exemption. |
