*2023: Ikwere Women Directorate Council Held Special Prayer for all APC Candidates,

Ahead of the 2023 General Election in Rivers State and Ikwere LGA , the Ikwere Women Directorate Council on Wednesday 20th December 2022, held a special prayer for the All progressive Congress (APC) Candidates vying for both National and State Assembly, including the Rivers APC Gubernatoral Candidate , Pst. Arc .Tonye Cole Patrick Mni.

It will interest you to know that the group started her campaign in peace, sensitizing the LGA wmen and appealing to Candidates to maintain peace and order, before, during and after the 2023 General Election across the 13 wards in Ikwere LGA.
The events started two weeks ago, ended yesterday with fasting, prayers and Thanksgiving .

The Convener and Director General Campaign Council women Affairs Ikwerre LGA Mrs Ngozi I Alu,
in her speech , thanked her team for their commitments towards the success recorded so far. She also thanked God for His Divine protection and wisdom to pilot the affairs.

Speaking further, She said: “Women have the powers that she believe coming together to pray God will answer them. she also said don’t have money or resources but they have unified prayer request and it works wonders. So this gathering is to call on God to support them and help all APC Candidates both at the National level, State, House of Representatives and House of Assembly to win forth coming general election.

She also said "We’ve registered for our PVCs, what’s next is to collect it. So we believe that with our prayers, no matter our numbers, we can ask God to help us.

“We are the owner of Rivers of possibilities 2023 , and we are putting it into God’s hands.”

Hon. Azubuike Nwanjoku, Rivers State House of Assembly Candidate, called for more prayers. and assured them of his support for women in Ikwere LGA when he is elected .

Ezemonye Ezekiel Amadi Esq, A.k.A Obanu Ezems. House of Reps. Ikwerre/ Emohua constituency, appreciated the women for coming out in mass to offer intercessory prayer support for them and the Rivers APC Candidates of 2023.

Hon. Onyi Ajoku, Director Ikwerre Women Forum( IWF), Member of Rivers State APC campaign council women Affairs. and Comr. Oluigbo Telma Chibuihe , Rivers Coordinator, APC Professional Women Council. Also was Kelga LGA women Leader, Mrs Blessing Titus ofurum, and Apostle Mrs. Precious.

Rev. Ikechukwu Asobinawu led the session tagged: ' Prayer For all the APC Candidates held a special session, prayed for their success and victory come 2023 General Election He also prayed for the women and her Leadership.
