Ever since losing the PDP's presidential ticket and the subsequent elusive chase for VP ticket, Wike has stood his ground, blazing guns from all angles, demanding the resignation of the PDP's National Chairman,Dr. Iyorchia Ayu as a condition, before he throws his weight behind Atiku's candidacy.
Wike has not been alone in this struggle. Four governors, three of southern extraction and one of northern extraction have against all odds stood gallantly, unflinchingly in support of the POS of Africa,a title which is the sole exclusive preserve of the outspoken and fearless Rivers state governor. From the struggle, the Integrity group was birthed.
From all indications and judging from recent trends involving the Integrity Group,a concession is not in sight. Or is it possible?
Of late,Gov Tambuwal and just yesterday Governor Emmanuel hosted Benue state governor, respectively in Benue state government house and Uyo,in an attempt to settle the leadership crises.
Also, Governor Makinde recently said in a consultation meeting with PDP stakeholders at Saki area of Oyo,that since he's drinking from a PDP's cup(well),He won't contaminate it. This will get you thinking. It might be political statement but the Oyo state PDP's publicity secretary coming on air to reiterate that AA remains their presidential candidate isn't something to be tossed aside as having no meaning...
Also,Prof Sandy Onor, Wike's staunch ally, and PDP governorship candidate for Cross River guber, said recently, about two days ago that he had hopes of PDP settling latest by January.
Is this an indication of peace gradually stirring up for the opposition PDP?
Or are there just cheap political talks?
What's your take on this issues and least I forget by January, Wike would name his candidate

They have option, they only need to settle their differences. But I won't fail to say the bitter truth which is 'Wike has done more harm to the PDP than any could imagine'

Even if they promised him the presidential ticket in the next election, PDP will not win.
