I think the answer depends on whom you asked. If you asked any of these people or those who know them, you will definitely get a positive answer:

* Jide Ogunsanya
* Noble Igwe
*Linda ikeji*
*Uche Eze
On the other hand, if you asked those who are after get rich quick, the same question, they will tell you all the reasons why you cannot make it on this line of 'business' (Yes blogging is a business)

So here is my take:

Yes, it is possible to make money by blogging in Nigeria. There are several ways to monetize a blog, including advertising, sponsored content, affiliate marketing, and selling digital or physical products.

To make money with a blog in Nigeria, you will need to find a niche that is in demand and create valuable content that attracts a large audience.

You can then monetize your blog through various methods, such as placing ads on your website, writing sponsored content for companies, promoting affiliate products, or selling your own products.

It is important to note that making money with a blog takes time and effort. It requires consistency, hard work, and a long-term commitment to building a successful blog.

It is also important to have a strong online presence and a solid marketing strategy to reach a wide audience and drive traffic to your blog.

So the question is:

What do you need to make money blogging in Nigeria?

I am going to briefly talk about 6 things you need if you are serious about earning a living from blogging:

1. A website: You will need a website or blog to publish your content and monetize it. There are various platforms available for creating a website, such as WordPress, Blogger, or Squarespace.

2. Quality content: You will need to create high-quality, engaging content that attracts and retains a large audience. This can include blog posts, articles, videos, podcasts, or other types of content.

3. A niche: It is important to choose a specific niche or topic to focus on and create content around. This can help you build a loyal audience and establish yourself as an expert in your field.

4. Traffic: To make money with a blog, you will need to drive traffic to your website. This can be done through search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, email marketing, and other tactics.

5. Monetization strategies: You will need to choose one or more monetization strategies, such as advertising, sponsored content, affiliate marketing, or selling products, to make money from your blog.

6. It is also helpful to have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as a passion for your niche and a desire to help others through your content.

Now, the above made it look so simple. But in reality, it is far from simple. Each of the points above is a topic for broader discussion. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I will be talking more about them soon.
but for now, tell me what and how you feel:
