No fewer than four students of the Kogi State Polytechnic transiting through Ondo State have been kidnapped by unknown gunmen. The students, said to be returning home for the Yuletide season, were waylaid on the Akunnu-Ajowa road in the Akoko area of Ondo. The Akunnu-Ajowa road is notorious for criminal activities by armed bandits and kidnapping. Details of the incident are, however, still sketchy as of the time of this report. Funmilayo Omisanya, the Ondo police spokesperson, could not be immediately reached for comments but the Assistant Commissioner of Police in Ondo, Muri Agboola, confirmed the kidnap case. Normal news coming from the sad waste.. sad waste is now the headquarters for kidnapping and banditry in the south but they have chosed not to talk about it cause their lives worth nothing |
