Christmas: Mene Zaa's Preaches Peace, Urged Rivers To Support God's Fearing Man by Optimistic2021(m): 3:12pm On Dec 25, 2022
*Christmas: Teamcolekhana LGA Coordinator , Mene Zaa Preaches Peace, urged Rivers people to support God's fearing Man in 2023*

The Teamcolekhana LGA Coordinator , a former Assembly aspirant for Khana Constituency 2 under the plaform of the All Progressive Congress and Deputy Secretary 1 Contact and Mobilisation, Tonye Cole/Barikor Rivers APC Governorship Campaign Council (GCC), High Chief Ledum Adonis Deekae JP, Mene Zaa 1 Of Africa has appealed to political actors and their followers to ensure a peaceful campaign in the spirit of Christmas, ahead of the 2023 general elections in Rivers State.

Zaa's made the plea in a statement he personally signed and made available to Teamcolekhana media in Bori, on Sunday December 25, on his Christmas goodwill message to Khana's.

He sued for peaceful governorship and state assembly elections in Khana LGA and Rivers State at large.

He said: “Glory be to God for sparing our lives to witness yet another Christmas in spite of the heightened insecurity, hunger and unemployment that ravaged our Dearest Rivers State since 2016.

“I wish to join thousands of khana, millions of Rivers people and Nigerians in general in congratulating all Christians on this festive season.

“Khana and Rivers returns to the polls again from February next year to elect a new Governors, Senators, House of Representatives and State Houses of Assembly in an atmosphere already charged with violence and breach of peace as campaigns take centre stage.

“Christmas, with its loaded significance, presents a golden opportunity for us politicians to campaign with peace, and the voters to be assured of their safety, before, during and after the elections.”

Congratulating Christians in khana LGA for witnessing this year’s Christmas celebrations, Zaa said that APC remains a party to beat.

According to him, the party has taken over a position of eminence within the 23 LGA's with Pst. Arc. Tonye Cole Patrick Mni emergence as its governorship candidate.

Stressing that Christmas symbolises the birth of Jesus Christ who died to gave peace to all men and save the lives of all.

The Nyo-khana Political Infantry General added that throughout Jesus’ lifetime, He preached peace, honesty, love and fear of God.

The Prophet Isaiah Promises :

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given ...and His name shall be called ...The Prince of Peace.

How we need the Prince of Peace more than ever in our world, khana and Rivers State! Especially as we prepare for the 2023 general elections.

Therefore, as we welcome the Holy Infant of Bethlehem , beholding in His humility and poverty the essence of true power and glory may we remember those whose lives are deprived of the blessing of Peace due to the mismanagement of our LGA's and State resources, especially under the current PDP led administration.

These take-outs, he said, is the driving force in APC and her Gubernatoral Candidate, Pst. Arc. Tonye Cole in seeking to serve the people of Rivers state as governor.

The political octopus 1 in Ogoniland, further stressed the need for the people, irrespective of creed, to imbibe and put such virtues into practice, especially our politicians and political parties Candidates.

He said that Khana and Rivers should imbibe the spirit of love and forgiveness during the festive period to strengthen existing friendships and establish new ones.

“I call on Christians in particular to exchange visits among themselves and adherents of other faiths, while also paying special attention to the poor, the needy, orphans and widows living among them and those whose lives have been shattered during the Christmas period,” Mene Zaa added.

Mene Zaa's also urged Rivers to reflect on routine and spiritual deeds in the last 7 years, and pray for better and prosperous years ahead.

May the Newborn Lord of Glory grant peace to His world, and bring speedy justice, reconciliation, and hope to the Peoples of khana, Ogonis and Rivers State.

A very Merry Christmas to you and yours, and a happy and healthy 2023.
