Syria, Burma, Iran, North korea and saudi arabia are all guilty of human right abuses, undemocratic rule and corrupt practices. Why arent they being invaded? Answer - their governments are either yes-men to the west, lack oil or have powerful military force. Libya could not boast of a 100,000 military force, they abandoned their nuclear power plant for peace with the west. well this is what they get in return

@ denitro - I think if you read very well I did not mention jonathan!!!
Also is being long in power really relevant provided the people are happy!!!
I prefer being long in power and the country works than short term and nothing happens!

an attack from NATO will only come if all other measures fail to work.

the first warning will be blackmail (aka wikileaks)

the second warning will be bomb blasts (boko haram)

the third warning will be an assassination attempt

if all of the above are unsucessful the final attempt will be a NATO invasion.

the above will only happen if nigeria starts selling oil to china in exchange for the yuan instead of the dollar, why? because this will undermine the US's financial position and it will weaken the dollar - the last person who challenged the US's financial position in this way was saddam hussein - he started selling his oil in exchange for euros to a number of nations - this is the reason that iraq was invaded and taken down, if nigeria attempts this - the same tthing will happen, i dont think nigeria has the guts though. i think sanusi is independent minded and might want to go down this route but his major obstacle will be the world bank puppet aka finance minister okonjo iweala who will definitely prevent this from happening.
