The peace accord brokered between the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, and the federal government by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, involves the payment of a part of the eight months’ salaries withheld by the government to the lecturers, investigation by Vanguard has shown. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2022/12/lecturers-withheld-salaries-government-agreed-to-pay-part-investigation/ Mynd44 Nlfpmod |

I think this is completely demeaning of ASUU if it is this document that ASUU is holding as a reason why Mr Gbaja was the one who made them call off the strike.smh. It was the courts that ordered ASUU back to the classroom. It was not Gbaja or FEC! At this time, ASUU Lawyer, Mr Femi Falana (SAN) should advise his clients to stop misrepresenting facts and messing up his brief. The vanguard reporter, as usual, is so mediocre by not revealing to the readers the court judgement that ordered ASUU back to class which makes the whole report look like a story copied out from a kindergaten play book. There is nothing investigational in this report and not surprised it is from vanguard. |
