Five Youths Received #1m Cash As Business Support From Ichie asinachi Foundation by Iconfirm002: 4:31am On Dec 29, 2022 |
October 16, 2022 will forever remain evergreen in the heart of the youths and the people of Umuokoroafor Kindred in Umudioka village, Umuohi Okija of Anambra State as the Founder, Ichie Ubasinachi Foundation, Ichie Chibuzor Val Ubanede gave the sum of #1m (One million naira) to support five youths to start up a business or support their existing business or handwork. An innovation thought out by Umuokoroafor Indigenes of the community but was singlehandedly financed by Ubasinachi Foundation. The general objective of adopting the Youth Business Financial Support Program (YOBUFIS) by Ubasinachi Foundation is to from time to time offer financial assistance to those of our youths who though qualified to be engaged in one labour or the other find themselves in lack of fund to start up or continue. In granting interview to newsmedia, Ichie Ubasinachi Foundation CEO noted that due to lack of fund, some of these qualifed youths engaged in some sort of social vices like thuggery, drug addiction and other immoral behaviours hence, this initiative. Ichie Ubasinachi went further to say that the business financial support which will be continuous is geared towards raising financial independence youths that would be useful to themselves, their families and the community. In his speech, he noted that this #1m is a grant (not to be paid back) and not a loan. A Supervisory Committee was set up for the Business Financial Support beneficiaries to monitor in their areas of operations and report back to the Foundation every six months for appraisal and further support. Ichie Ubasinachi Foundation CEO charged the Committee head and members to discharge their duties diligently and with respect to the beneficiaries. And not to use the privilege to intimidate the beneficiaries. In handing over the cheque of #1m to the beneficiaries, Ichie Ubasinachi advised them through the Business Financial Support Committee Head High Chief Wilson Ihejimkpo (Ozor Onyewenkeya na Okija) to make sure the money is put into use for which purpose it was given. And warned that there should be no misuse of the fund like engaging in drugs, lottery (bet9ja) and the likes. In conclusion, Ichie Chibuzor Val Ubanede, Founder Ubasinachi Foundation and the Proud Sponsor, Youth Business Financial Support (YOBUFIS) prayed that the concerned youths would be successful to make Umuokoroafor Kindred a golden land with Happy indigenes in our God given Land. The Invited Man of God, Elder Rev Godwin Osungwu (Okpala Umuokoroafor) by community and the youths offered praises to God for His Mercies and prayed that he continues to bless Ichie Ubasinachi Foundation CEO whom they called UKWUOMA KPORO UMUOKOROAFOR. Ichie Chibuzor Val Ubanede, CEO Ichie Ubasinachi Foundation, a philanthropist per excellence is from Okija in Anambra State Nigeria. Frank Akpoazaa writes from Awka. ●Iconfirm
