You're very correct . He's governance personified and enjoys the goodwill of the people irrespective of political affiliation or alliance. You can take it to the Bank.... Teslim can't win Seyi Makinde , Seyi isn't even campaigning like 2019 Penkelemes deserved the ticket but was denied Now Seyi has the Ladoja, and Tinubu's backing and the whole of Oyo state Seyi is the luckiest Governor of Oyo state after Ajimobi .[/quote] |

Teslim is a strong supporter of Tinubu. If Makinde supports Tinubu, Teslim and APC will allow him win his second term bid and he'll hand over to Teslim. 1 Like |

erico2k2: Please, help me tell them. Tinubu did everything to influence Edo gubernatorial election through Oshiomhole and personally intervened, he lost. Same man just lost in Osun where he did everything to save his nephew, the incumbent governor. People, do not let Tinubu and his hired propagandists hoodwink you. This election is LP's to lose, period. 1 Like |

Mumusaphire: God bless you for your observations!, don't mind the OP! Makinde has done well, don't teach us whom he will direct his People to vote! The People themselves know the difference between voting a working Governor like Makinde and Voting the President - as directed by the Governor. So, the Oyo People can differentiate between governor and the presidency logo! I remember vividly, that I was amongst the observers, who predicted at initial stage, that Makinde will perform! So,here we are today! 1 Like |

Only one man is busy selling is candidature to Nigerians the likes of Tinubu and Atiku are banking on their bullion vans and allies who would help them rig election if obi does not emerge I pity Nigerians because this election would be the most expensive in the history of Nigeria voters are now wiser imagine how much the politicians would spend to buy their votes buharis government would indeed be paradise compared to what is coming if obi those not emerge 1 Like |

asanausana91: There is nothing to be shocked about... OYO State is one of the most predictable states as far as Gubernatorial elections is concerned. In the build up to an election, citizens know who will win, because, OYO citizens are not hypocrites...they tell it to your face during campaigns and governance...and that's exactly how they will vote. Before 2011 elections...we already know Ajimobi will win.. During 2015 elections...We know Ajimobi will win his re-elections..and he won.. In 2019 elections, we already told Ajimobi, not because he failed in governance, but because of his unguarded utterances, he was told he will lose his Senatorial bid as a sitting Governor and that APC will lose gubernatorial elections.. That's exactly what happened. As far as Makinde is concerned, citizens are behind him..he will win. |

Re: PDP Crisis: How G-5 Alliance May Affect Makinde’s Second-Term Bid by ChangeHolder(m): 2:20pm On Dec 30, 2022 |
I don't know how Makinde will win Teslim in this election. Everything makinde has lost, Tessy has gained. Tessy understands the politics of Oyo state better than all of them. He has also close rank with most aggrieved politicians in his party. Makinde is romancing Tinubu in search for a political lifeline. His politics is very terrible. Over 65% of the key gladiators in his party are against him. At the moment in Oyo State, the key political gatekeepers are also against him. His main hope is Ibadan main city, unfortunately, he has Senator Kola Balogun and the Olubadan throne to contend with. He may also have lost at least 4 of the 7 political regions in the state. Don't come here and argue if you don't have the benefit of direct observation. 1 Like 1 Share |

Makinde will win OYO either by workinf for Tinubu or not. He will only cut a deal to submit names for ministers and Tinubu government not to give him problems. 1 Like |

Moh247:You can say that again. Folarin can't win Seyi, infact no serious PDP campaign is going on in the whole of Oyo State be it Presidential or governorship except for APC/BAT campaign. He's just too confident to win this election unlike in 2019. |
