I have observed from watching south African shows and news that they look alot like Nigerians from the south,even their mannerisms are like southern Nigerians,only that they tend to be on the big side unlike Nigerians who are generally not fat.

It's baffles me because Nigeria is so far away from SouthAfrica and there are a lot of countries between them,but Nigerians resemble southern Africans and SouthAfrica in particular than even fellow West Africans.

Nigerians do not look so much like even it's closest neighbours, a Nigerian can for example easily identify a beninoise, or Ghanaians, in their midst ,even Nigeriens and Chadians can easily be distinguished from Hausa's ,I am not so sure of Cameroonians,but I believe a south African will not be easily identifiable in the midst of Nigerians except by their accents.
