A rocket launched from the Gaza Strip in the latest barrage landed near a highway near Rehovot in central Israel, setting fire to a utility pole. There have been reports of widespread power outages in the area. Medics say there are no physical injuries.

Pentagon Press Secretary Pat Ryder confirmed the US will provide its full Iron Dome stockpile, both interceptors and batteries, to Israel. The Pentagon also confirmed that a variety of air defense operators are being deployed to the Middle East. They will not be sent to Israel specifically, but to the other Middle Eastern countries with US bases as part of America's efforts to bolster its regional posture in the face of the threats of Iran and its terrorist proxies. This is just nuts! A Chinese J-11 fighter flew to within 10 feet of a U.S. B-52 bomber over the South China Sea on Tuesday night, in what U.S. Indo-Pacific Command is calling an "unsafe intercept." "We are concerned this pilot was unaware of how close he came to causing a collision" My question is this. Why would a B-52 not be escorted by fighter jets? Something doesn’t add up imho.
